It is recommended that these darts be used in guns with a smooth bore barrel… such as the Crosman 760 PumpMaster and any number of other BB rifles and pistols available for very little investment.
However, they shoot just fine in a rifled barrel… but will (over time) possibly damage the rifled barrel.
If using an airgun over 250-300 fps, begin by first moving far away from the target to determine the distance that allows you to shoot the soft (cork?) target AND retrieve the undamaged dart.
After that, adjust your sights, scope, laser, or red dot (whatever you use) for accuracy.
I personally use a de-tuned CO2 pistol (Crosman 2240) at 10 meters… and a CO2 carbine (Crosman 2400KT) at 20 meters (both to a cork-backed target).
Once you have your target (No hard wood or metal), then determine the distance that works best for your air gun(s), the real fun begins.
With more than one shooter, everybody gets “their color” and can all shoot at the same target.  When all the darts are shot, it is so easy to tell who shot what and who shot best.
Pull the darts from the proper target (cork is my preference) and go again with the reusable darts.
These are not for small or unsupervised children (especially in more powerful airguns).
These darts are freshly new (not old stock) and have never been used.
They have not been disassembled or modified in any way.
These darts are completely ready for you to use in your .177 caliber pistol or carbine.
